7.2.3. Employees

In this section you can edit the employees’ benefits through two input methods. The change between both methods is performed on the project settings page.

Salary expenses by category

  1. On the employees’ categories listing click “Add”. You will be directed to the employees editing page.
  2. Enter the name of category of workers.
  3. For each year enter the average yearly gross salary per worker in that category. You don’t need to adjust it to inflation, CASFLO APP will do that for you.
  4. Enter the number of workers per year on that category.
  5. Enter the average yearly amount of prizes and bonuses (or any other type of payments subject to company social security) per worker in the category.
  6. Enter the average yearly amount of benefits that are not subject to company social security per worker in the category.
  7. If you have the advanced functional expenses input on, you can choose to which type function the employees’ category you are adding belongs to. The default option is Cost Of Goods Sold (COGS).
  8. Click on “Save”. You will be directed back to the employees’ category listing. Remember: the values presented on this listing are pre-inflation.

Salary expenses by employee

  1. On the employees listing click “Add”. You will be directed to the employee editing page.
  2. Enter the name of the worker or function.
  3. Enter the number of salary months of the worker. For your convenience the value that you have typed on the Project settings page is pre-entered.
  4. Enter the year in which the worker will be starting. If you state a year other than the first, you will notice that on the table the years before the starting year will not be editable.
  5. Enter the month in which the worker will be starting.
  6. For each year enter the monthly gross salary of the worker. You don’t need to adjust it to inflation, CASFLO APP will do that for you. Remember: it is the monthly gross salary and not the yearly gross salary.
  7. Enter the yearly amount of prizes and bonuses (or any other type of payments subject to company social security) of the worker. Remember: at this item the estimate must be yearly, not monthly.
  8. Enter the yearly amount of benefits that are not subject to company social security of the worker. Remember: at this item the estimate must be yearly, not monthly.
  9. If you have the advanced functional expenses input on, you can choose to which type function the employee category you are adding belongs to. The default option is Cost Of Goods Sold (COGS).
  10. Click on “Save”. You will be directed back to the employees’ listing. Remember: the values presented on the listing are pre-inflation.
